Sir Murray Productions, LLC is a privately owned,
independent film company dedicated to projects that
have something to offer the world. Started in 2008,
SMP has been hard at work with a variety of projects.
Our first short film, JANE, was completed in July of
2008. We completed two more short films in 2009.
Cathy Schmalfuss of Sir Murray Productions, LLC has
been visiting the Pocono Mountains since she was a
child. In 1999, Cathy moved to Pennsylvania full
time. Amongst the serenity of the mountains, she began
to immerse herself in the arts and started
screenwriting. Since then she has come to network
with a number of people in the arts and entertainment
industry both locally and on the West
Coast. She started her own production company in
order to maintain creative control of her projects and
also offer the community the opportunity for
involvement, which is essential to her.

A NOTE FROM CATHY
In 2012 Sir Murray, whom this company is respectfully
named after, crossed over. Many people that know me
personally, and my work with various animal rescue groups,
know what a big part of my life he was. It is through my
past and future creative endeavors that his name will live on.
When looking for an animal companion, please consider
adopting before buying. There are many loving animals in
rescue that would a forever home. Thanks.
